products such as <span style=\"font-weight:bold;font-size: 1rem\">carbon blacks*<\/span>, our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dry-fog.com\/en\/products\/noz-hyd-jjxp\/\" style=\"color: #00a273\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JJXP Series full cone spray nozzles<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dry-fog.com\/en\/products\/noz-hyd-vvp\/\" style=\"color: #00a273\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VVP Series flat spray nozzles<\/a> have traditionally been used to spray feedstock oil and collect residual soot after combustion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 0.9rem;line-height: 1.6rem;margin-left: 1rem\">*Carbon Black: Fine carbon particles produced by injecting feedstock oil into a high-temperature gas inside a reactor and allowing it to undergo incomplete combustion. Carbon black pigments are primarily used as reinforcing materials in tires and rubber products, enhancing their strength and durability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:1.2rem;font-size: 1rem;line-height:1.6rem\">Upon discovering that color inconsistency in carbon black correlated with the size of spray droplets, the customer approached us to explore whether a nozzle producing finer droplets than the JJXP or VVP could enable the collection of finer soot directly linked to product quality.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dry-fog.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/01\/noz-hyd-002_ariticle_01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1800\" height=\"540\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-6216\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:1.2rem;font-size: 1rem;line-height:1.6rem\">While our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dry-fog.com\/en\/products\/noz-hyd-kb\/\" style=\"color: #00a273\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB Series hollow cone spray nozzles<\/a> offer excellent atomization performance, their ceramic tips make them unsuitable for use in high-temperature environments. To achieve finer atomization, hollow cone spray nozzles offering superior atomization performance needed to be selected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:1.2rem;font-size: 1rem;line-height:1.6rem\">Among the available options, we selected the KKP Series nozzles for spraying feedstock oil, as they offer <span style=\"font-weight:bold;font-size: 1rem\">excellent atomization, are resistant to clogging, and can operate in high-temperature environments<\/span> due to their all-stainless steel structure.
