style=\"font-size: 1.5rem\">Challenges Faced by the Customer<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:1.2rem;font-size: 1rem;line-height:1.6rem\">\nAn automotive bumper manufacturing plant was promoting a productivity improvement project.<br \/>\nWithout additional investment in existing facilities, the plant began by focusing on increasing the number of bumpers they fed into the painting line to shorten cycle time and raise output.<\/p>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:1.2rem;font-size: 1rem;line-height:1.6rem\">To achieve this, the spacing between bumpers waiting on the painting line was significantly reduced from 1,500 mm to 500 mm, causing an unexpected problem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:1.2rem;font-size: 1rem;line-height:1.6rem\">Because the bumpers were now positioned much closer to each other, <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">overspray from the paint-spraying robot reached the next bumper waiting for a different color<\/span>, contaminating the surface and causing coating defects.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dry-fog.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/02\/nozzle-auto-001-image_01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"820\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6304\" \/><br \/>\nPreviously, the spacing between waiting bumpers was 1,500 mm.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dry-fog.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/02\/nozzle-auto-001-image_02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"820\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6304\" \/><br \/>\nReducing the spacing to 500 mm resulted in overspray reaching the next bumper awaiting painting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:1.2rem;font-size: 1rem;line-height:1.6rem\">To address this issue, the customer approached IKEUCHI\u2014known for its extensive lineup of air nozzles\u2014to explore measures such as an air curtain to block overspray.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div no-repeat 0 0;background-size:auto 30px;padding-left: 20px\">\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.5rem\">Solutions Proposed by IKEUCHI<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:1.2rem;font-size: 1rem;line-height:1.6rem\">IKEUCHI promptly visited the site to review the painting line and utility conditions.<br \/>\nThe conveyor was 1,800 mm wide and compressed air was available, so we proposed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dry-fog.com\/en\/products\/noz-air-slnha-h\/\" style=\"color: #00a273\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SLNHA-H<\/a> air slit nozzle, specifying a lightweight PVC version for easier installation.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dry-fog.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/02\/nozzle-auto-001-image_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"820\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6304\" \/><br \/>\nStainless-steel SLNHA-H shown (reference image).
