Following installation in September 2024, the facility recorded a 10\u201330 percentage point increase in relative humidity, a greater than 50% reduction in low-RH stress events, and the near elimination of extreme dips below 40% RH.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"937\">Beyond the data, the interview explores why the non-wetting characteristic of Dry Fog matters for soft fruit production. Conventional humidification methods often raise canopy wetness alongside humidity, creating conditions favorable to foliar diseases such as botrytis. By delivering ultra-fine droplets that evaporate before contacting the canopy, AKIMist\u00aeE allows growers to maintain elevated humidity and tighter VPD control without that tradeoff.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"937\">The accompanying case study presents the full recorded data trends, threshold comparisons, and additional commentary from the CEARC team on long-term value and future deployment within the facility.
