หัวฉีดแบบท่อยาว เรียกกันว่าwater knife หรือหัวฉีดม่านน้ำ ทำหน้าที่กระจายละอองน้ำให้สม่ำเสมอในระยะที่ค่อนข้างกว้าง โดยจะผลิตของเหลวไหลออกมาเป็นชั้นบางๆ เพื่อลดการใช้สารเคมีในน้ำบริสุทธิ์ ช่วยให้ประหยัดต้นทุนได้
