Dust Control Business
Suppressing airborne dust particles from dispersing.
Dry Fog is an energy efficient and low-risk solution for dust control.
Solutions for dust control using fog require control of the spray droplet size and a spray volume suitable for the type of dust.
In addition to the above, we propose a spray system with both the durability that maintains an accurate spray and good maintainability.
Our dust control solutions
The dust and contaminants generated by industrial activities give negative impacts to the surrounding natural environment and ecosystems, and cause discomfort and health problems for employees and the local residents. They could cause life-threatening harm to individuals, particularly those with respiratory diseases or allergies.
We propose dust control systems that effectively suppress the spread of dust by using a fine fog generated by our spray nozzles. They have helped solve challenges that many customers faced over the years.
Principle of dust suppression
The fog sprayed from the spray nozzle spreads and collides with and absorbs airborne particles. The particles that are absorbed fall to the ground slowly due to the increase in mass. Maintaining a suitable humidity also prevents the dust from scattering.
Importance of particle size
Fog with coarse droplets does not absorb dust particles, resulting in no effective dust suppression. Use of our pneumatic spray nozzles can effectively generate a fine fog of 20 to 50 μm.
For controlling dust with fog, merely installing the equipment does not provide an effective performance. Broad-ranging factors are required such as the installation layout that maximizes the nozzle’s performance, durability for long-term use, a guarantee of maintainability, and safety assurances for high-pressure sprays.
Therefore, we perform a detailed survey of the worksite and the type of dust, and select the suitable equipment to provide a more effective solution.
Two types of lineups
In order to design and provide the optimal system for our customers’ worksites, we made two main product lineups available.
One is the soft fog type, which is a system that focuses on suppressing airborne dust. It maintains humidity at a worksite in a moist condition to effectively suppress dust particles from scattering.
The other system is the high-velocity type. It sprays a large volume of fog at high velocity to suppress dust from erupting from the source of the dust.
With either system, we can design the optimal system suitable for our customers’ worksites that performs an effective dust control.

We also have a proven track record of using fine fog for disinfection and deodorization.
No matter the issue, we will provide you with a solution that leaves you satisfied.
