In Memoriam: Hiroshi Ikeuchi, Founder and Honorary Chairman (1920–2024)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our founder and Honorary Chairman, Hiroshi Ikeuchi, on December 24, 2024, at the remarkable age of 104.

Hiroshi Ikeuchi was born on April 25, 1920, in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and founded Ikeuchi Co., Ltd. in 1954. Under his visionary leadership, the company pioneered numerous innovations, including:

The world’s first ceramic spray nozzle, CERJET® (1961)
The dry fog nozzle, AKIJet® (1979)
The launch of the industrial humidification business with AirAKI® (1990)
Groundbreaking environmental solutions such as the cool mist system, Suzukiri® (2006)
Advanced technologies like the Semi-Dry Fog® intake cooling system (2012) and IKEUCHIPonics® spray hydroponics system (2021)

His legacy of innovation and excellence continues to inspire us every day.

A private wake and funeral were held with close family members, and we respectfully decline any condolence visits or offerings.
