AKIMist®E Featured in PBR Printing Success Story by All Copy Products

Ikeuchi USA is proud to be featured in a new customer testimonial video from our partner, All Copy Products (ACP), highlighting how AKIMist®E Dry Fog humidification helped Cheyenne, Wyoming-based PBR Printing overcome a persistent environmental challenge on their shop floor.

At nearly 6,100 feet of elevation, PBR Printing’s high-altitude, low-humidity climate was causing intense static and constant print-head clogging on their flatbed hardware, disrupting production and putting consistent color output at risk across their digital fleet.

To solve it, ACP integrated a temporary AKIMist®E demo unit before PBR committed to a full installation, allowing their analyst team to confirm that Ikeuchi’s dry fog technology could atomize humidity finely enough to eliminate static and head-clogging entirely, without wetting equipment or media. Paired with a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C12010S, the system helped stabilize PBR’s internal shop environment so production could run seamlessly.

The video also details how PBR Printing’s owner, Ken Hopkins, put ACP’s technicians and managers through a rigorous three-round interview process before trusting them with his shop floor, a reflection of the technical expertise and responsive service PBR required from a true production partner.
