Ikeuchi USA is pleased to announce that Ethan Shipp, Partner & Business Development, will join The D-Code Podcast as a featured guest during SMTA International 2026 in Rosemont, Illinois.

Recording live from The D-Code booth (#2413), Ethan will talk about a part of static control that often gets overlooked: the air itself. Wrist straps, grounded workstations, and ionizers are standard in any ESD-protected area. Still, very dry air makes charge build up faster and linger longer on people, packaging, and materials. That problem is sharpest during the heating season, when indoor relative humidity can drop sharply.

Ethan will explain why more electronics manufacturers are adding facility-wide humidity control to their ESD prevention strategy. He’ll also cover why the method of humidification matters.
