LYOHM System

An outdoor cooling system capable of alleviating heat stress or dryness across a broad area through water spraying. The system lowers ambient temperature using the heat of vaporization of the fog, without emitting exhaust heat, and operates with minimal energy.

We design a system configuration by integrating specialty spray nozzles with high-pressure misting pumps, sensors, timers, and other control devices.

We also offer a system to create a "sea of clouds", developed more for landscaping purposes than for cooling, by designing its system configuration tailored to the intended needs.

Product Outline

• Hydraulic cooling system producing Semi-Dry Fog. *1
• It reduces temperatures by 3–5℃ with evaporative cooling of fog.
• Ideal as an UHI countermeasure, for heatstroke prevention, for creating a comfortable cool spot, and for creating a feel of cool comfort, etc.
• It can be also used for dust suppression, static charge prevention, and humidification.

*1) We define Semi-Dry Fog as a fog with a mean droplet diameter (mean fog droplet size) of 10–30 μm.
Because this fine fog does not include large droplets which can result in wetting, it provides superb performance quality for human users.
