What is Semi-Dry Fog? What Are the Benefits?

Our products, such as CoolPescon (for livestock farming and greenhouse), LYOHM System , and CLJ-CSA , generate Semi-Dry Fog.
What is Semi-Dry Fog?
We define Semi-Dry Fog as a fog with a mean droplet diameter of 10–30 μm. This fine mist does not include large droplets that can cause wetting, providing superior performance in controlled environments.
How Does Fine Spray Droplet Size Help?
Compared to conventional mist coolers with a mean droplet diameter of 100 μm, Semi-Dry Fog is less likely to cause wetting. Why is that?
The key is in the relationship between droplet fall speed and evaporation rate.
As shown in the graph, our 30 μm droplets fall slower and evaporate faster than the 100 μm droplets used in conventional systems.
Larger droplets fail to evaporate before falling, causing them to settle and wet surrounding surfaces.
This evaporation delay can result in overspray and temperature fluctuations.
In contrast, our Semi-Dry Fog evaporates quickly, preventing unwanted wetting and ensuring an optimal environment.
