Hidden Spring Gem in Osaka: The Mint Bureau’s Cherry Blossom Walk
Every April for just one week, Osaka’s Mint Bureau opens its gates to reveal a stunning tunnel of cherry blossoms — with over 140 varieties and 340 trees, mostly late-blooming double-flowered sakura (yaezakura).
Entry to the official “cherry blossom walk” requires advance reservation, but the riverside path that runs alongside and slightly below the sakura-lined route is open to everyone. From there, you can look up at the blossoms while enjoying festival favorites like takoyaki and candied apples sold from food stalls along the river.

Peak Performance, All Year Round
While cherry blossoms bloom only briefly each spring, some components in industrial systems must maintain performance consistently throughout the year.
One such example is automatic self-cleaning filters, like the one featured in this case study, where jet nozzles effectively remove accumulated dirt and particles from the filter screen, ensuring smooth operation.
