Additional Tips for Adaptor Selection

NDB / UNDB – Manual Adjustment of Individual Nozzles

The needle valve knob allows you to manually reduce or stop the spray flow rate at individual nozzles on site, without adjusting the supply pressure. However, fine or repeatable flow adjustment is difficult.

SNB / USNB – Simple Spray ON/OFF Control

Spray ON/OFF is controlled by switching the atomizing air ON/OFF. An atomizing-air pressure of at least 0.2 MPa is required. This method is suitable when highly precise ON/OFF control is not needed. Slight timing delays between air and liquid may cause coarser droplets when spraying starts or stops.

SPB / USPB – Precise, Responsive Spray ON/OFF Control

A separate pilot-air supply (at least 0.2 MPa) enables more precise and responsive spray ON/OFF control. Atomizing-air pressure can be below 0.2 MPa, allowing softer spraying with less droplet scattering. However, atomizing air continues to flow during spray-OFF periods, which may increase compressor electricity costs.
