The portable Dry Fog humidification unit we proposed offered two key advantages:
A plastic bottle manufacturing factory was struggling with recurring static electricity problems in its shipping area.
In this process, finished bottles are aligned on the conveyor and pushed directly onto pallets. However, during dry conditions, static charges caused the bottles to cling together and topple in sequence.

Each time this occurred, operators had to stop the process and manually transfer bottles one by one onto pallets, resulting in a significant drop in efficiency.
The customer asked whether it would be possible to raise humidity enough to suppress static electricity without causing any water droplets to form on the products.
IKEUCHI proposed the AE-T Set portable humidification unit, equipped with the AKIMist “E” Dry Fog Humidifier.
The unit combines an AKIMist “E”, a pressurized tank for purified water supply, and a telescopic mounting pole, all integrated on a mobile stand.
No piping work is required, and connecting compressed air is sufficient to start operation. Fitted with casters, the unit can be easily relocated to any area where humidification is needed.

The AKIMist “E” sprays ultra-fine droplets—Dry Fog with a mean droplet diameter of 10 microns or less—effectively raising humidity in critical areas without wetting products or equipment.
Eliminating any risk of condensation or water droplets forming on bottle surfaces, the unit provides reliable spot humidification wherever it is needed in the facility.
Humidifying the affected areas with the AE-T Set suppressed static generation and eliminated bottle toppling. As a result, operators no longer needed to re-align bottles on pallets, and overall efficiency improved.
In addition, airborne dust was reduced, while the cooling effect of fog evaporation lowered workplace temperatures, creating a more comfortable work environment.
The customer described the outcome as “a triple benefit.”
